·         Do you want to know where the nearest hospital, police station, petrol station or intersection is in a hurry? The “Where Am I?” feature will give this information instantly.  Of course, you get thousands of such Points of Interest (POI’s) plus more, such as restaurants, garages, accommodation, airports, … with your Garmin nuvi 205.

·         The well-known Google Earth and Panoramio web-sites have pictures with their location that you can download.  You can use this information (also known as geotagged photos) to go to these places. That means that you can see the place before you decide to travel there.

If You Ever Lose The nuvi

·         Worried about your Garmin being stolen? Well you can pin lock this GPS.  Every time you switch on, you will be asked for a pin code.  What happens if you forget the code?  Just take the nuvi back to where you set the code in the first place and the nuvi 205 will unlock itself.
